Processing data from my weather station

Preamble

In the spring of 2021 I aquired a weather station, something I was meaning to buy for a long time. After reviewing a lot of different types I eventually settled with the WSX3001 7-In-1 professional weather station sold by Explore Scientific. I wanted to go for something by Ambient Weather or AcuRite, however the models I wanted were not available in the EU due to frequency regulations. The bands used by those devices were not allowed without license in the EU. To prevent any hassle down the road I chose to buy a EU certified model, which the WSX3001 was.

Yoda - Testudo marginata

My son - and admittedly myself - were thrilled to get a new pet today: Yoda! It is a tiny turtle that over time will grow into a big boy. The whole thing is very exciting. In Dutch it is called a breedrandschildpad.

Things I Saw While Running — Part 1­

I love to run. Whenever I can spare the time, I love to just get out and beat down some miles. During these strolls, I come accross a lot of nice things, and thought it would be nice to keep some log.

Two-Factor Authentication In Phoenix/Elixir

As part of a small research setup for one of our clients over at Jack + Joe, we setup a minimal test project for two-factor authentication. It contains a Phoenix project and promotes a simple login flow with 2FA setup and subsequently 2FA login.
